Hey! I’m Glen, a frontend developer and Computer Science student at San Diego State University. But before I dove into the world of coding, I spent two years in the 1st Airborne Special Forces Brigade. Yes, I jumped out of planes and learned to face challenges head-on with discipline and resilience!
When I’m not coding, you’ll find me expressing my creative side through music and design. I have a passion for cars and love getting hands-on with creative projects that push my design skills. I believe creativity fuels innovation—whether on a canvas or in my code
I’m all about staying active and exploring the world around me. Whether it’s working out, camping, hiking, or skiing, I’m always ready for the next adventure. Life’s too short to sit still, and I’m constantly on the lookout for my next challenge—both in and out of the tech world!
As a frontend developer at SDSU Digital Innovation Lab, I lead the development of an AI-powered career mentorship platform for enterprises. Utilizing React, Tailwind CSS, and Django, I build scalable and responsive UI components. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams and deploy applications to Azure, ensuring seamless integration and performance across platforms.
During my internship at Mercedes-Benz, I specialized in automation and application development. My role involved building automated systems to streamline internal workflows, developing web applications, and ensuring software reliability through rigorous testing. This experience enhanced my skills in full-stack development, with a focus on innovative problem-solving and high-quality engineering standards.
Serving in the 1st Airborne Special Forces Brigade, I developed strong leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills under high-pressure conditions. My experience in mission-critical operations and complex strategic planning honed my ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in fast-paced environments, skills that I now apply to my engineering work.
